Naval War College Monterey Awards Academic Honors for 2022 Summer Quarter

The Naval War College (NWC) Monterey program for Joint Professional Military Education (JPME) recognized 17 students from the 2022 Summer Quarter graduating class for academic excellence during a brief ceremony in the Academic Quad, July 21.

Graduates earning 鈥渨ith Highest Distinction鈥 honors by completing the JPME program in the top five percent of their class are Lt. Cmdr. John Sison, Marine Corps Maj. Robert T. Stockman III, Air Force Maj. Nicholas S. Underwood and Army Maj. Alexander R. Wingate.

Graduates earning 鈥渨ith Distinction鈥 honors by completing the JPME program in the top 15 percent of their class are Lt. Cmdr. Michael R. Lidestri, Lts. Ethan Bryant Foster, Gabrielle M. Negus, Zachary A. Poindexter, Joshua R. Schultz and William R. Sunda III; Air Force Majs. Joshua Dryden and Dustin M. Merritt; Marine Corps Majs. Thomas Hathaway and Robert Joseph Lousche; Army Majs. Thomas D. Kraus, James M. Raub and Marc C. Rose.

Through the 51福利-NWC partnership, a total of 6,427 officers have earned their JPME Phase I certification since the program鈥檚 inception in September 1999.
