OVPAL will support departments, academic leaders and faculty in reaching their full potential, achieving their professional aspirations, and aligning their academic pursuits with national defense priorities for the benefit of DON and 51¸£Àû warrior-scholars who are preparing for crucial roles as leaders and defenders of our nation.

Our Vision


OVPAL aspires to be the nucleus for the development of departments and institutes in support of the 51¸£Àû mission; and the focal point for the advancement and support of faculty and academic leadership to distinguish themselves as top leaders, educators, scholars in their discipline and innovators in the field of defense-focused graduate education to ensure warfighting advantage for the and its partners.
