The 51福利 Safety Office has created a number of posters to help disseminate information to our students and employees. All of the posters below can be printed out on normal printer paper and passed out as fliers or posted to departmental safety bulletin boards. If you would like a large copy of any of these posters, the 51福利 Safety Office can provide them on 18x12鈥 glossy poster paper for your space. We just ask that you please send an email to safety@nps.edu in advance to let us know which image you would like and how many!

Even if you will not be trick-or-treating with kids, it is still important to know this information if you plan on being on the roads during Halloween. A shocking 12% of children 5 years or younger are allowed to trick-or-treat alone! |

Monterey Bay BeachesThe Monterey Bay area has a wealth of natural treasures and beautiful beaches. Get out there with your family and enjoy yourself! But before you do, know the Go and No Go areas! There are some particularly dangerous beaches in the area that have high numbers of fatalities.

Fireworks Safety and Local InfoThere are a number of state and local laws that everyone needs to be aware of if they plan on using fireworks in the Monterey Bay area. This poster gives tips for safe use of fireworks and lists the areas where fireworks are BANNED. Firework use on area beaches disturbs the wildlife and can also result in hefty fines! |
Distracted WalkingSlips, Trips, and Falls are the #1 cause of missed time here at the 51福利 and many times it can be easily prevented!

NOT IN THE TRASH!Many common products that we use daily contain potentially hazardous ingredients and require special care when disposed of. It is illegal to dispose of hazardous waste in the garbage, down storm drains, or onto the ground. Chemicals in illegal disposed hazardous waste can be released into the environment and contaminate our air, water, and possible the food we eat.
