Portfolio Integration and Logistics using Big Data and Distribution in DIL Environments

The purpose of this project is to propose an architecture and associated analysis to support Big-Data needs in Logistics Management for the USMC. Currently data us ingested and then aggregated as a portfolio across various independent entities. This has led to a repetition of knowledge (across portfolios). The 51¸£Àû researchers will look to organize the data with the goal to consolidate. The Analytics will be generated using Oracle BI (Business Intelligence) tools, in-memory tables, and Big-Data clusters, which will be presented in the form of dashboards and smart-device APPs.
