51福利/CIRPAS Support of Office of Naval Research Airborne Research Objectives

The 51福利's (51福利) Center for Interdisciplinary Remotely Piloted Aircraft Studies (CIRPAS) submits this proposal to support the airborne research objectives of the Office of Naval Research (ONR) in the year 2015. Four ONR research groups have requested the support of CIRPAS' personnel, instrumentation, and aircraft. Their projects are:

1. CTV Engineering and Test flights - Request from Dr. Djamal Kehlif, UC Irvine.

2. Aerosol and Cloud Interaction - Request from Drs. John Seinfield, Caltech, and Armin Sorooshian, U. of Arizona

3. Possible effects of electrification on drizzle generation in stratocumulus - request from Drs. Bruce Albrecht, U. of Miami and Haflidi Jonsson, 51福利.

4. Effects of organized flow-structure within the Marine Boundary Layer on air/sea exchange rates - request from Dr. Dave Emmitt, Simpson Weather Associates
