51福利 uses the term Quality Point Rating (QPR) in place of GPA.  Note:  Naval War College classes (JPME), classes marked as a refresher, and classes with these grades: I, W, P, F, T, N are excluded from all QPR calculations. The credit hours from P/F and T graded courses do not count towards program or curriculum requirements.

The three QPRs are:

  1. TQPR (Total Quality Point Rating):  The Total QPR represents all graded 51福利 courses per visit#.

  2. GQPR (Graduate Quality Point Rating):  Represents courses numbered 3000 and above, which are associated to a designated curriculum/visit#.  A Graduate QPR of 3.0 or higher is required to graduate with a Master's degree or Academic Certificate.

  3. CQPR (Curriculum Quality Point Rating):  Represents all graded courses associated to a designated curriculum/visit#.  A Curriculum QPR of 2.75 or higher is required to graduate with a Master's degree or Academic Certificate.

Students whose grades fall below a GQPR of 3.0 or CQPR of 2.75 will be placed on academic probation. Refer to the 鈥楪rading鈥 excerpt in the .

Usually, students who cannot see their grades in Python have either pending CEFs or the instructor has not submitted their grades into Python.  E-mail the Registrar鈥檚 Office if you have further questions.

It is most likely the course was not required for the completion of your degree and would have caused an irresolvable conflict.  Email scheduling@nps.edu for more information.

For courses pending approval that were dropped prior to the scheduling process, you will need to resubmit your request once schedules are posted and Python is unlocked.

(b) Click on 鈥淔aculty Folio鈥 then click 鈥淭each Load鈥. (c) Click on the details button next to the appropriate AY, Qtr, and course. (d) The 鈥淐ourse Information鈥 page will appear.
